Description

Character:
Elris D. Bane

History:
!!FAN THEORY ALERT!!

800 Years prior to the events of Gol D. Roger and the Pirate Era, there once was a great kingdom on a peninsula of the Redline, called Hajimaru. It's people where not cut from the same cloth but were all tied by a certain calling. Their ancestors gathered from around the world; cast out as "Demons" by their own people. They all gathered to a great mountain where the faint sound an angelic song rang through their ears. It was there that a sheep herder from a distant village known as Elris D. Voss uncovered a great treasure.

This treasure was what called the many thousands of outcasts together, and in turn, what made the country of Hajimaru. As generations passed, knowledge of this great treasure would develop. It's people believed it to be some form of Gods power trapped in a single "piece."

For 2000 years, the Kingdom was benevolently ruled by the house of Elris; a single family deemed most worthy to be the protectors of what they called the tesseract.

During the lost years of the Void Century, the Kingdom was presided over by Elris D. Roth, who would be known as the last reigning king of Hajimaru. He bared two sons; his eldest – Elris D. Bane – was a complacent, yet overwhelmingly confident young man. After that, his younger – Elris D. Flynn – was adventurous and well spirited.

Bane was known by many as a conquerer with the spirit of a peacemaker. Truthfully though, he was just uninterested in actually destroying the cities he fought against. Under his flag, Hajimaru came to craft many a great allies that would serve the will of his people long after his lifetime. Bane was a great combatant both by hand and by sword, he wielded a type of long sword similar to a Jian called "The Lands Holy Jade."

His most notable feature is his earmark scar that ran down his right cheek, and halfway down his neck while fighting what by legend was a sea king. He became known by many names in his lifetime, but he would most notoriously be known as the "Will of D."
